The aisle of promises

One of these days
When the lights will guide us both
To the aisle of promises
Merging into one another ,
where we find ourselves stripped
Of all our reservations
And all notions,
I would want to ask you to be mine.

Be mine
Like the cool breeze on a warm summer day,
And much like the breeze,
Take away all the static
And leave behind just a calm mind
And a hopeless smile on my face.

Be mine
Like the cherry blossoms on a tree,
Shrouding the greens with bright colors
On a spring morning
And just lay there until
The monotony of the greens is
Filled with the vibrant pink.

Be mine
Like the coffee to my cigarettes,
Bitter yet punchy enough to get me off my ass,
And do the things that I would not have the guts to otherwise,
Slowly rising above the smoke,
And creating a masterpiece wherever I go.

Be mine
Like the dew on the morning leaves,
Taking away all the blues
And just animate everything around,
Make it prettier, softer and gentle to the touch,
One leaf at a time.

Be mine
Cause I do not know what else to be
If not yours
And I cannot think of anything that is more gratifying
than being alongside you,
With you, for you and
Yours!

Be mine
And I promise you the world will be ours.
I will take a leap of faith for the both of us,
Everyday, and create something magical,
Mysterious and something we can enjoy together,
Be mine,
Just mine
And no more.
