Cold Hands
“Your hands they’re too cold ” she complains
So i rub them against her palm and ask her
“How about now?”
She nods and giggles as she feels my hands
She puts my hand close to her face and
Lets me feel her face with my fingers
Gently stroking and making figures
Of her cheeks and nose and eyes
Like a figure skater on ice,
With such grace.
She takes my hand and slowly puts it around her waist,
I take it slowly inside her warm tshirt
Slowly feeling her skin
And as i go up, creating tiny little ripples of goosebumps
All across her back
I slowly remove the top off of her
And kiss her body inch by inch
Like mapping her entire back for an art i am about to create
Like she is my canvas for all of my creations to come to life
She shrugs slowly, reminding me my hands are still cold
So i grab her and kiss her
Rushing our bodies of immense warmth with our blood
Like a tsunami of warm liquid inside of us
I could see her cheeks redden with the heat and
As her temperature protest was over,
I could feel her submitting herself to me
Her breath getting warmer on my lips
And her brown eyes staring at me in between those kisses
We built castles that night and
Broke down walls
We conquered our chills that night and
Built fire inside of us,
Both of us
Enough for us to stay warm
Then and now and for a long time to come.
